It is used as an aromatic, medicinal and spices plant. Used in foods, leaves and young thyme sprouts they give them a pleasant taste and aroma. It can be used in fresh or dry conditions for the preparation of soups, salads, meat, fish, mushrooms, tomato sauces, cans and vegetables, pickles and marinated. The thyme has bactericida, spasmolithic, diuretic, astringent, healing, sweat, therefore it is mainly used as a medicinal plant.

What requirements does the climate and soil have?
