  3. Improve the duration of the conservation of agricultural products and the quality of the plants collected. The presence of mushrooms makes fruit, vegetables and seeds unusable.
  4. Avoid contamination. The presence of mushrooms also has negative effects on consumer health, whether human or animals.

In the case of most fungicides, it is recommended to be applied to agricultural crops before specific signs of fungal diseases or the appearance of the first signs appear. The application of fungicides does not heal the symptoms already that occur, even if the pathogen is eliminated. For this reason, it is essential to use fungicides to ensure the protection necessary to obtain productive agricultural crops, not influenced by diseases.

Types of fungicides

There are two main types of fungicides: systemic fungicides and contact fungicides. Subsequently, we show you what are the characteristics of all kinds.

Contact fungicides have the role of protection of the plant from mushrooms, preventing their appearance and development. These fungicides provide protection to the plant as long as the substance covers the plant. Unlike contact fungicides, systemic ones do not limit the substance only to the surface of the plant, but penetrates the structure of the plant, offering protection inside and long -term. The effectiveness of systemic fungicides is not interested or limited by the frequency of the rains, the only condition is that the rain takes place immediately after applying the systemic fungicide. The use of this type of fungicide is also effective after installing the mushroom, if the mushroom is in the initial phase. Due to the mode of action, it is recommended that systemic fungicides do not apply more than 2-3 times each season, in order not to strengthen the resistance of the plant to this type of treatment.
